Hot. Sunny. A wonderful
weekend to race!
The Maus still on filming duties… unable to get any
photographs! The one near the
bottom of the page is of a visitor to our pits. We always get interesting visitors!
We decided to test-and-tune on Friday afternoon/evening to try to get
that elusive power band that always falls short at this track. We did far better this year than last –
we got it into the 11.50’s at least.
We were able to qualify for both ET and SEP fields on
Saturday. On Sunday morning, Chip
red lit – BARELY - .004 red – in ET.
For the SEP round, Chip cut a good light and ran an awesome 11.55,
but lost to Donnie Huffman’s 11.521!
It was an awesome race.
