Bristol, Tennessee – August 11-12, 2007 S & S Cycle Thunder in the Valley Nationals
Hot. Sunny. A wonderful weekend to race! The Maus still on filming duties… unable to get any photographs! There was a 61 bike field in ET, with our friend Erik Nelson taking the #1 qualifier. Our friend Joey Talbott took the #1 spot in SEP, away from Curtis Talbott. The Talbott family was one and two qualifiers – what a proud moment! We squeaked in and qualified #31 after a break in the 2^nd round of qualifying. Still having troubles hooking on the starting line. We think it’s time for a new tire!!! We didn’t make the afternoon show in either ET or SEP, same plaguing problems with hooking on the starting line.
We love Bristol. We’ll be back next year and hope for better results!!
