Richmond, Virginia – September 22-23, 2007 S&S Cycle Jim McClure Nationals Presented by Colonial Harley-Davidson
Virginia Motorsports Park Saturday – Qualifying day – started out with a wet track from Friday night’s rain. Foggy morning. Late start. Very late. The pros went out on the track at about noon for the first qualifying round. Fought oil downs immediately. The sportsman classes finally started their first qualifying pass near 2 pm. We have a new tire this weekend, but still having hooking problems. This time it’s because of a brand new slick instead of a slickery old slick. The Maus still on filming duties… unable to get any photographs! We really are hoping to change that for the 2008 season.

In SEP, we qualified #22 in the 30 bike field – an improvement over qualifying #31 in the last race (Bristol). The new tire is better, but we are still struggling to hook. We may actually finally have to start doing a burnout! We didn’t make the afternoon show in either ET or SEP.
